Frank E. Dodge

Frank E. Dodge, 93, passed away Dec. 1, 2024, at his home.

He was born Aug. 8, 1931, at Curtis, Oklahoma, son of Lial and Mary Ellen Boswell Dodge.  A Kingman resident most of his life, he was employed as a lineman for the City of Kingman, rodeo stock contractor and he retired with the Kansas Dept. of Transportation.

Frank was a longtime member of the Kingman VFW Post, having proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean War, aboard the carriers USS Rendova and USS Bedoyne Straits.

On November 27, 1954, he married Norma Jean Spotts at Kingman; she preceded him in death on Oct. 25, 2021.  Survivors include two sons, Dallas (Melody), and Lial (Nancy); daughters Deb Benson (David) and Sandra Goetz, sister, Betty Durgin; 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sister Lila Hatfield.

Funeral Services will be 2:00PM, Thursday, Dec. 5, 2024, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman, KS. The family will receive friends from 5:00PM to 7:00PM, Wednesday Dec. 4, 2024, at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
