Franklin W. Couch of Wichita passed away on Monday, May 29th, 2023. He was 79 years young. He was born June 17th, 1943 in Glendale, CA to Warren and Ilda Couch. He lived most of his life in Wichita, KS. He graduated from Southeast High School in 1961. Frank then joined the Air National Guard in 1965, serving in Korea 1968-1969. He married Theresa L. Danler on July 1, 1966. In 1971 he graduated from Sacred Heart College then started working at Wonder Bread Company. Later, he was hired by Boeing and worked as a Finance Manager for 30 years before he retired.

Frank loved cars from a young age. He enjoyed snow skiing, fishing, hunting, and camping. Frank was an avid sailor and member of the Ninnescah Sailing Association. His sailing took him many places, but his favorite was the British Virgin Islands. He and Theresa also enjoyed many trips traveling together with friends.

He was preceded in death by his Parents; Sisters Lura Sprague and Jane Munn-Lemmons; Brother-in-laws Arlin Munn and Joe Danler; and Nephew Stanley Sprague

Frank is survived by his wife of 57 years, Theresa Couch; Sisters-in-laws Mary (Mark) Turner and Cecilia (Richard) Andres; Brother-in-laws  Larry (Sandy), John (Faye), and Leo (Susan) Danler, Herb Sprague, and Frank Lemmons; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Saturday, June 24th, 2023.

9:00AM Graveside Service at Walnut Hill Cemetery 900 N Marquette, Kingman, KS.
10:30AM Memorial Service at Ninnescah Sailing Association Afterdeck (Cheney State Park) 16000 NE 50th, Cheney, KS ($5 park fee to enter)
