G. Lorraine Leis, 84, died Aug. 12, 2014, at Kingman Community Hospital.
She was born March 25, 1930, at Pretty Prairie the daughter of Edger and Ethel McCubbin Shepherd. A longtime Kingman resident, she was a retired State Farm Insurance Agent and office manager.
She was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church, the Altar Society, the BPW; and formerly a board member of the Kingman Library, all of Kingman.
On May 4, 1949, she married Gerald Leis at Kingman; he died July 4, 2005. Survivors include 3 sons, Martin, Mark and John; 3 daughters Nancy Patterson, Judy Vallier and Teresa Goetz; brother Gary; sisters Darlene Fiske and Olinda Sowers; 20 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a sister Lois Jean Sheahan.
Parish rosary will be 6:00 p.m., Sunday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kingman. Friends may call from 1:)0 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday at the Livingston Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday also at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m., Monday at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery, Garden Plain.
Memorials may be made with The Foundation Fighting Blindness and St. Anthony's Pro-Life Outreach, both in care of the funeral home.
