Gary Brewer passed peacefully at his Cunningham home which was known by many as "the duck shack" on July 4, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents Billy Gene and Patricia Ann Brewer. He is survived by his two daughters Kaley Brewer and Melissa Brewer, and two granddaughters Brynlee Brewer and Kinsey Brewer. Gary is also survived by his two sisters Jennifer Haines (David) and Susan Evans (Mike). Gary was a retired owner/operator of BEAR automotive, and Doggy Daycare.

As a young man, Gary graduated from North High School ('75) and went on to pursue baseball at Seward County Junior College. He was a lifelong fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, KU Jayhawks, and the Kansas City Chiefs.

He was a lover of the great outdoors and would hunt and fish at every opportunity he had. He was known for his hospitality and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it. Gary never knew a stranger, was quick witted, and had a unique sense of humor. His tell you like it is attitude will never be forgotten. Gary loved to entertain, brought life to the party, and was also known for his unmatched cooking skills. Riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle alongside some of his best friends was one of his favorite things to do. Gary was also a proud pet owner of his 3 dogs Harley, Rocco, and Riley. All who knew Gary knew that he loved to host a party so please come join us one last time and have a drink for the old man. A celebration of life will be held July 18 ^th at The Vail Venue from 1pm-4pm. 210 N Mosley St, Wichita
