Gary R. Sawyer, 77, died March 23, 2021 at Via Christi St. Francis, Wichita.

He was a former resident of the Kingman and Murdock communities having served as a member of the Kingman County Fair Board; and co-owned and operated G&S Catering.

Gary was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who brought joy and laughter to everyone who knew him. Preceded in death by his parents Richard and Delia Sawyer and wife Sharon Sawyer. Survived by loving wife Sophia Sawyer; children: Shannon Ware, Scott Rausch and Tiffany (Ty) Burkes; step-children Samantha Trent, Sydney Jones, Esteban Gonzales and Vincente Gonzales; brothers John Sawyer and Larry Sawyer; sister Marilyn Tanner; grandchildren, Brianna, Morissa, Lakin, Emmerson, Ryder, Cortland, Savannah and Jaxx.

Mass of Christian Burial, preceded by a parish rosary, will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Wichita Kansas with reception following.

Memorials may be made with the Gary Sawyer Memorial Fund in care of Livingston Funeral Home.
