GEORGIA L. VANLANDINGHAM

Georgia L. VanLandingham,  97, died Jan. 21, 2024 at Wheatlands Healthcare Center, Kingman.

She was born Dec. 25, 1926, at Kingman, the daughter of Claude and Myrtle Brock Brand.  A lifetime resident of the Kingman community, she was a retired bookkeeper for VanLandingham Brothers Water Service, Happiness, and the Kingman County Council on Aging.

Georgia was a member of the Kingman Christian Church and the CWF.

On Aug. 26, 1947, she married Robert VanLandingham; he died Dec. 12, 2005.  Survivors include sons Robert and Samuel; daughters Stacy Hinderks and Sally Chapman; 4 grandsons; and 5 great-grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by brothers Jim and Gene; and sisters Virginia Doak and Norma Salmans; granddaughter Claire VanLandingham.

Memorial services will be  1:00 p.m., Friday, Jan. 26, 2024 at the Kingman Christian Church.  Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials may be made with the Kingman Christian Church and the Kingman Library, both in care of Livingston Funeral Home.
