GERALD G. STUCKY

Gerald G. Stucky, 79, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Feb. 10, 2012.
He was born Dec. 11, 1932, at Castleton, Kansas the son of Milton and Viola Graber Stucky. A lifetime resident of the Pretty Prairie community, he was a retired farmer and stockman.
He was a member of the First Mennonite Church, the Booster Club, both of Pretty Prairie; and was a former board member of Albian Township and the Prairie Sunset Home.
On Sept. 2, 1951, he married Phyllis Young at Pretty Prairie. Other survivors include 5 daughters, Juanita (Tom) Zerfas, Paula (Gary) Sisler, Vickie (Ron) Jacques, Kellee (Randy) Goering and Joni (Roger) Vogt; brother LeRoy; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter Geryl Lynn Ellingson; sister Marlene McCowan; and grandchildren Leslie Ellingson, Ellea Vogt, Aryn Jacques and Andrew Goering.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at the First Mennonite Church, Pretty Prairie. Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday at the Livingston Funeral Home with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in the First Mennonite Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with the First Mennonite Church, the Prairie Sunset Home and Hospice and Home Care of Reno County, all in care of the funeral home.
