Hazel Foster, 95, died March 1, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Home, Hutchinson.
She was born April 17, 1916, at Ft. Gibson, OK the daughter of Asa and Clara Schlatter Troop. A longtime resident of the Penalosa community, she was a homemaker.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, UMW and the Sewing Club, all of Penalosa.
On Oct. 4, 1958, she married Forest Foster; he died in 1987. Survivors include Millie Schrock, Ruth Ann Sidebottom Dick Foster and Judy Zwierzychowski; brothers Harry and Paul; sisters Pearl Miller, Agnes Staggs, and Ruth McLaughlin; 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, son Edwin Faye; son-in-laws John Schrock and Gaylord Sidebottom; step-son Robert Zwierzychowski; grandchildren Jody, Tim and Becky; great-grandson Dustin; sister Ethel Hammond; and brother Howard.
Services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday at the Livingston Fuenral Home, Kingman. Friends may call from 1:00 p..m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. til service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lerado Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with the Good Samaritan Home, Hutchinson or the Penalosa UMW., both in care of the funeral home.
