Helen Ryan, 80, died March 25, 2016.

She was born May 11, 1935, at Zenda the daughter of Alden and Lavone Simonson Swingle.
A resident of the Zenda community most of her life, she was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Zenda United Methodist Church.

On Oct. 1, 1955, she married Lee Ryan at Anthony. Other surivors include three sons, Mike and his wife Carmen, Jeff and Greg; daughter Cyndi Johannsen and her husband Albert; sister Phyllis Arb; 4 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson Michael Young.

A visitation with the family will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 31, 2016, at the Zenda United Methodist Church. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 9 at the Pleansant Hill Cemetery near Zenda.

Memorials may be made with Wellington VFW Post 881 in care of Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman, KS.
