Obituary
Iris E. Zerger, 94, died March 7, 2012 at Pretty Prairie.
She was born Aug. 29, 1917, at Pretty Prairie the daughter of Walter W. "Bub" and Cora Graber Henderson. A resident of Pretty Prairie most of her life, she was a retired Registered Nurse at Kingman Memorial Hospital and Donley Clinic.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, UMW and EHU, all of Pretty Prairie.
On Jan. 5, 1940, she married Ernest Zerger at Pretty Prairie; he died in 1980. Survivors include son David and his wife Sharon; daughter Linda Crossland and husband Dennis; brother Raymond; sister Erma Creason-Peabody; 6 grandchildren, Jeremy Zerger, Jessie Cable and husband Joseph, Keith Zerger, Kevin Zerger, Robert Crossland, Catherine Richardson and husband Bruce; and 4 great-grandchildren, Kyle and Erica Richardson, Caleb and Coltin Crossland. She was also preceded in death by a brother Donald; sister Margie Vail; and great-grandson Seth Richardson.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday at the United Methodist Church, Pretty Prairie. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday at Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Lone Star Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with Red Cross, Prairie Sunset Home and United Methodist Church, all in care of the funeral home.
