JAMES A. "JIM" TETRICK

James A. "Jim" Tetrick, 89, died Nov. 11, 2021 at Pretty Prairie.

He was born Oct. 19, 1932, at Belvidere, Kansas the son of Oliver and Florence Williams Tetrick.

A resident of the Kingman community most of his life, he was a retired maintenance foreman for Kansas Power and Light.

Jim was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, both of Kingman; and was a U.S. Navy veteran.

On Nov. 11, 1954, he married Lois Schuman at Kingman; she died March 3, 2014.  Survivors include three sons and their wives, Jerry and Kris, Brice and Bev, and Bill and Melissa; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.  He was also preceded in death by his brothers Robert and Lawrence; sister Marie Born; a grandson Steven Tetrick; and an infant daughter.

Parish rosary will be 7:00 p.m., Monday at the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kingman.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday also at the St. Patrick Catholic Church.  Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday at the Livingston Funeral Home with the family present from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.

Memorials may be made with the St. Patrick Grade School in care of the funeral home.
