Jean Lucille Peek died Aug. 13, 2019, at Wheatlands Heathcare Center, Kingman, KS.

She was born March 23, 1935, in Elmdale, Kansas, the daughter of Albert and Margaret Hailey McPhail. A longtime resident of Larned , she was a retired cook at Larned State Hospital.

She was of the Christian faith.

On July 3, 1952, she married Ray Miller at Woodward, OK; he passed away June 18, 1972, at Liberal, Kansas. On June 18, 1979, she married Milton Peek of Larned, Kansas; he passed away April 13, 2009 at Hays Medical Center in Hays, KS. Other survivors include son Michael Miller, St. Louis, MO; daughter Barbara Tutak, Kingman; brothers Harold and Gerald McPhail; grandsons Cal and Brad Tutak and John Miller of California. She was also preceded in death by sister Lorene Riding, Ft. Supply, OK.
