Jeanette Helm, 78, died Dec. 18, 2020, at the Prairie Sunset Home, Pretty Prairie.
She was born March 9, 1942, at Nickerson, Kansas the daughter of Allen and Rosella Graber Risley. A longtime Kingman resident, Jeanette's love of gardening and cooking led to manage F&D Restaurant and own and operate Jeanette's Family Dining before her retirement.
Jeanette was a member of the Kingman Mennonite Church.
On Oct. 22, 1966, she married Raymond Helm; he died April 25, 2014. Survivors include son Michael "Bubba'; daughter Julie Helm and husband Poncho; two brothers and their wives Leroy and Elaine and Kenny and Terry; sisters Wanita Lampe, Marcy Risley, and Arlene King and her husband Dave; 2 grandchildren; 1 step-grandchild; and 4 step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020 at the Kingman Mennonite Church. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020 at the Livingston Funeral Home with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Kingman Mennonite Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with the Kingman Mennonite Church or the Prairie Sunset Home, both in care of Livingston Funeral Home.
