Jeanne Stinemetze, 97, died May 3, 2021 at Marjorie's Home, Kingman.

She was born Aug. 31, 1923, at Kingman the daughter of O.S. and Mildred Oakes Turner.  A Kingman resident since 2013, previously of Pratt County, she was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and matriarch of the family.

Jeanne attended the Southern Baptist Church; and was very active in the Byers, Kansas community.

On March 7, 1941, she married Audrey Stinemetze, at Hutchinson; he died April 2, 1992.  Survivors include a daughter Danna Hernandez; three sons Gary, Vic and Bruce Stinemetze; 14 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by a sister Jane McKenzie.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 14, 2021 at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman.  Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Thursday May 13, at the funeral home with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., May 14 at the Iuka Cemetery, Iuka, Kansas.
