Jerome A. "Sonny" Becker , 88, died December 1, 2018, at El Paso, Texas.

He was born March 15, 1930, at Nashville, Kansas the son of Philip and Elizabeth Bayer Becker.
A longtime resident of El Paso, he was a retired barber.

Jerome was a member of the St. Mark's Catholic Church, El Paso; a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus; and was a U.S. Navy veteran.

On January 25, 1958, he married Carolyn Baker. Other survivors include sons David, Thomas and Steven; daughters Karri Carroll, Lori Godines and Sherri Goodwin; sisters Betty Ricke and Joan Becker; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son Michael; brothers Emil, John, Alfred, Philip and Nicholas; and sisters Josephine, Marie and Philomena.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 10, 2018, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cunningham. Parish rosary will be at 10:30 a.m., with Mass of Christian Burial following. Burial with U.S. Navy honors will be in the Sacred Heart Church Cemetery.
