Jesse Joe Flickner, 76, of Fort Myers, FL, passed away on March 3, 2023.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Livingston Funeral Home on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 11 AM. The family will greet family and friends as early as 10 AM. A luncheon will immediately follow at Livingston Family Center.

Jesse was born in Kingman, KS to Joseph and Selma Flickner on April 27, 1946. He graduated from Kingman High School in 1964. Then earned an Automotive Service Degree from Pittsburgh State University in 1966.

Jesse married Betty Marie Denison on December 23, 1966, and they lived in Arlington Heights, Illinois for the majority of their marriage. Jesse worked as a Master Technician for Martin Nissan, formerly Fergus Nissan, in Skokie, Illinois for 47 years. The couple recently relocated to Fort Myers, Florida to enjoy retirement in the sunshine. Jesse enjoyed playing cards with his family, clock building, keeping a beautiful yard, home improvement projects, socializing with neighbors, and taking long walks with his best friend, Charlie.

Jesse is survived by his wife, Betty Flickner of Fort Myers, Florida; children Jeremy Flickner, Lake Mills, Wisconsin and Sara (Timothy) Nunn, Lake Tapps, Washington; sibling Larry (Judy) Flickner, Kingman, Kansas; grandchildren Emma Nunn and Alyssa Nunn; and many nieces and nephews. Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Selma Flickner, and siblings: Carl Flickner, Victor Flickner, Mildred Boswell, Earl Flickner, Irma Cretsinger and Phyllis Dennis.
