JIMMY ALBERT "JIM" WILSON

Jimmy "Jim" Albert Wilson, 83, died Jan. 9, 2014, at his home in Wichita.

He was born June 5, 1930, at Hutchinson, Kansas, the son of William George and Grace B. Lowrey Wilson.
A lifetime resident of Hutchinson, Kansas, he was a Materials and Engineering Dept. employee of the KS. Dept. of Transportation and J.H. Shears Construction.

He was a member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Hutchinson.

On Jan. 3, 1951, he married Elizabeth "Betty" Jean Niedens at Hutchinson. Other survivors include 4 sons Jim, Jr., St. Charles, MO, Russ, Hampton Bays, NY, Tom, Hutchinson, and Mark, Walla Walla, WA; 6 daughters Mary Bura, Dodge City, KS, Julie Kater, Wichita, Roberta York, Sublette, KS, Monica Brown, Wichita, Noreen Josserand, Johnson City, KS, and Andrea Fischer, Isabel, KS; brother Bill, Nickerson, KS; sister Shirley McMillian, Caldwell, TX; 24 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren (plus one expecting).

Rosary service will be 10:15 a.m., Tuesday at St. Leo Catholic Church, St. Leo, Kansas, with Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:00 a.m.

Memorials may be made with the St. Leo Catholic Church.
