JOHN F. ADELHARDT

John F. Adelhardt, 85, died Aug. 12, 2026.

He was born Jan. 16, 1941, at Nashville, Kansas the son of John and Emma Simon Adelhardt. A lifetime resident of the St. Leo community, he was a farmer.

John was a member of the St. Leo Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

On Oct. 28, 1978, he married Linda Worrell at St. Leo. Other survivors include son Kenny and his wife Janelle; sister Rita Adelhardt; and granddaughter Breanna “Breezy” Adelhardt. He was preceded in death by brothers Elmer, Eugene, Al, Ron and Fritz; and sisters Norie Zogelman and Marcella Ford.

Parish rosary will be 7:00 p.m., Friday, Aug. 14, 2026 at the St. Leo Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026 also at the St. Leo Catholic Church. Burial will be in the St. Leo Church Cemetery.
