Obituary
John N. Demmer, 90, died Friday, March 16, at Kingman Community Hospital.
He was born Feb. 3, 1922, at Union City, Oklahoma, the son of Leo and Anna Hentzen Demmer.
A longtime resident of the Kingman and Willowdale communities, he was a retired farmer and stockman.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Willowdale.
On August 7, 1948, he married Jeanne Schuman; she died Jan 26, 2004. Survivors include son Mike, Kingman, KS; daughter Margaret Bedford, Aurora, CO; brothers Joe and Leo, Union City, OK; sisters Marie Esselman, Union City, OK, Josephine Anderson, Shawnee, OK, and Anna Loretta Demmer, Union City, OK; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by sister Margaret Demmer.
Parish rosary will be 7:00 p.m., Tuesday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Willowdale. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, also at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Burial will be in the St. Peter Catholic Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with St. Peter's Catholic Church in care of the funeral home.
