Josephine V. Albers, 98, died April 9, 2015, at Hilltop Manor, Cunningham.
She was born June 26, 1916, at St. Marks, Kansas the daughter of Alex and Lena Stockemer Wegerer. A longtime resident of the St. Leo and Cunningham communities, she was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the D of I, and the Altar Society.
On June 2, 1936, she married Leo Albers at St. Leo; he died Dec. 22, 1970. Survivors include son Ron and his wife Martha; daughters Geneva Theis and husband Paul, and Margie Sterneker and her husband Bob; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Parish rosary will be 7:00 p.m. Friday evening (April 10) at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Friends may call after 1:00 p.m., today at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, at the St. Leo Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with St. Leo Church, Sacred Heart Church or the Cunningham EMT's, all in care of Livingston Funeral Home.
