JOYCE B. ELSWORTH

Joyce B. Elsworth, 91, died Jan. 5, 2017, at the Prairie Sunset Home.
She was born Dec. 3, 1925, at Salina the daughter of Walter Glenn and Alice Elvira Wilson Snell. A longtime resident of the Pretty Prairie community, she was a retired hair stylist and worked with the Pretty Prairie High School concessions.
Joyce was a member of the United Methodist Church, the UMW, the Pretty Prairie Booster Club and the Beta Study Club, all of Pretty Prairie; and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
On March 14, 1949, she married Wilbur L. Elsworth at Kingman; he died Jan. 20, 1986. Survivors include
a son Walter and his wife Melody; daughter Melody A. Richard; sisters Lucy Orth and Louise Bett; sister-in-law Greta Snell; and two granddaughters Jennifer Joyce Antonetti and husband Kris, and Krystal Angeline Hay and her husband Bryan. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Victoria Glenn Miller; and brother Glenn Snell.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m,. Monday, at the Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, at the Livingston Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Lerado Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with Prairie Sunset Home or the Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church, both in care of the funeral home.
