Joyce E. Moore, 85, died May 26, 2013 at Kingman Community Hospital.
She was born April 8, 1928, in Reno County, the daughter of Emmet and Viola Geist Oak. A lifetime resident of the Penalosa community, she was a homemaker.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church and UMW, both of Penalosa; and was a member of the Kingman Community Hospital Auxilliary.
On July 20, 1947, she married Otis Moore, Jr., at Penalosa; he died March 15, 1993. Survivors include a son Stan; daughters Phyllis Lester, Debbra Smith, Pamela Collins and Kathy Shaw; sisters Jane Blair, Marilyn Shingleton and Margaret Ring; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Sego Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with the Penalosa United Methodist Church or the Kingman Community Hospital, both in care of the funeral home.
