Kenneth Joe Scripsick, 89, died March 5, 2012, at Pratt Regional Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 22, 1922, at Lake City, Kansas the son of Joseph V. and May Bell Richardson Scripsick. A resident of the Penalosa and Cunningham areas since 1948, he was owner/operator of Scripsick Oil Company.
On July 7, 1944, he married Billie Jean Butler at Anthony, Kansas; she died in 2004. Survivors include two sons, Michael M. (Terri) and Kent J. (Sandy); daughter Dee Ann (Terry) Jones; 9 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a son Billie Joe; 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m., to 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Maud Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with The Cunningham Community Center or the donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
