Larry L. Whitmer, 88, died January 28, 2018 at Wheatlands Healthcare Center, Kingman.
He was born October 14, 1929, at Kansas City, Missouri the son of Lloyd and Marie Hope Whitmer.
A lifetime resident of the Zenda community, he was a retired farmer and stockman.
Larry was a member of the Zenda United Methodist Church; and a former board member of USD 332 and the State Bank of Kingman.
On August 3, 1952, he married Kathleen McKinney at Hartford, Kansas. Other survivors include two sons, Scott and his wife Sue, and Monte and his wife Edwina; a daughter Esther Koontz and her husband Wendell; 7 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister Janis Pakis.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, Februay 1, 2018 at Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman.
Memorials may be made with Wheatlands Healthcare Center or the Zenda United Methodist Church.
