Laverne Lawrence, 82, died Aug. 10, 2021 at the Hospice House of Reno County.

She was born March 7, 1939, at El Paso, Texas the daughter of Jessie Earl and Leta Mae Beasley.

A longtime resident of the Kingman and Langdon communities, she was a homemaker.

Laverne was a member of the Baptist Church.

On Nov. 30, 1957, she married Gene A. Lawrence in Van Horn, Texas; he died Dec. 21, 2020.  Survivors include son Mike and his wife Leia; brother Robert Beasley; 6 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by a son George Earl Lawrence; and two brothers Virgil and Kenneth Beasley.

Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021 at the Hoosier Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman.

Memorials may be made with the Hospice House of Reno County in care of the funeral home.
