LaVone Strawhacker, 100, died Feb. 10, 2017, in Wichita.
She was born Oct. 8, 1916, in Washington County, Kansas the daughter of Malcom and Ethel Pickett, she was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Kingman Christian Church.
On May 25, 1942, she married Gail Strawhacker; he died Dec. 23, 1977. Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Bonnie Fine; and sisters Patricia, Valecia and Lucille; and brothers Bill and Virgil.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m,, Friday, Feb. 17, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made the KAMI Food Bank in care of Livingston Funeral Home, 1830 N. Main, Kingman, KS 67068.
