LAWRENCE "LARRY" WALTER KLEIN

Lawrence "Larry" Walter Klein, 77, died June 5, 2018, at his home near Garden Plain.

He was born April 28, 1941, at Wichita the son of Walter and Bertha Schild Klein. A resident of the Garden Plain community most of his life, he was a retired dairyman and farmer.

Larry was a member of the St. Mary's Aleppo Catholic Church; a former board member of the Garden Plain CO-OP, former President of the DHIA, and a former delegate to the AMPI.

On October 21, 1961, he married Kathleen Gorges and Clonmel, Kansas. Other survivors include sons Phil and his wife Sherri, Patrick and his wife Brenda, Kevin and his wife Krystal, and Brian; brothers Jerry Klein and Mattie Giefer; sisters Mary Olson, Rosie Gorges, and Margie Scheer; 16 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter Dana Klein; and grandson Derek Klein.

Parish rosary will be 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 8, 2018 at the St. Mary's Aleppo Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 9, 2018 also at St. Mary's Aleppo. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman . Burial will be in the St. Mary's Aleppo Church Cemetery.
