LELA MAE HUBBLE

Lela Mae Hubble, 80, died March 16, 2015, at Clearwater, Kansas.
She was born July 25, 1934, at Rago, Kansas, the daughter of Barney and Lela Holder DeWeese. A longtime Kingman resident, she was a former telephone operator for SW Bell and a former upholsterer for Cessna and Beech Aircraft.
She was a member of the Kingman Christian Church; and was a 1952 graduate of Adams High School where she was a 3 time letterman.
On Aug, 6, 1952, she married Clyde Hubble in Kingman; he died Dec. 20, 1995. Survivors include a son Casey; brothers Barney and Mickey; sisters Pat Knox, Jeannie Beever and Becky Watson; 6 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by sons Kenneth, Robert and Sam; sister Nancy Brown; and granddaughter Shiloh Lela Mae Hubble.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Saturday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Maud Cemetery, Cunningham.
Memorials may be made with the Kansas Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
