Lela M. Santee, 92, died April 8, 2017, at the Prairie Sunset Home, Pretty Prairie.

She was born Aug. 31, 1924, at Arlington, Kansas the daughter of Harry and Mary Eva Walburn Warfield. A resident of the Pretty Prairie community most of her life, she was a retired LPN at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Hutchinson and the Kingman Community Hospital.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church, and the UMW, both of Pretty Prairie.

On June 16, 1944, she married Donald Ravens; he died in 1966. In 1969, she married Rex Santee; he died June 17, 2010. Survivors include 3 sons, Fred (Billie Jo) Santee, Brent (Lisa) Ravens, and Barry (Karen) Santee; daughters Corliss (Ed) Mies, Sherry Weston, Marsha Arpin, Linda (Ron) Frazee, Lisa (David) Potter, and Janeen (Ed) Albright; sisters Eileen Rydholm and Norma Simpson; 35 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by brothers Lyle, Curtis and Glenn; step-son Ronald Santee; and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 15, 2017, at the Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church. Friends may call after 1:00 p.m., Friday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman, with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Sego Cemetery.

Memorials may be made with the Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church, the Prairie Sunset Home, and Hospice House of Reno County, all in care of Livingston Funeral Home.
