LEON H. WINTER

Leon H. Winter 89, died Sept. 26, 2021 in Kingman.

He was born May 28, 1932, at Nashville, Kansas the son of Walter Harold and Matilda Naasz Winter.  A longtime Kingman resident, previously of Wichita, he was a retired aviation electrician for Cessna and Learjet.

Leon was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church, Wichita; and was a longtime Boy Scout Master.

On Dec. 11, 1954, he married Shirley Hodson at Nashville, Kansas; she survives.  Other survivors include four sons, Michael, Mark, Rick and Dennis; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a daughter Cindy Serna; a brother Lawrence; sisters Louise Smith and Rosalie Goertzen; and 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
