Leonard T. "Leon" Tiesmeyer

Leonard T. "Leon" Tiesmeyer, 69, died Dec. 14, 2023 at Wheatlands Healthcare Center.

He was born Sept. 24, 1954, at Kingman the son of Fred and Ellen Mans Tiesmeyer.  A lifetime resident of Kingman, he was a farmer and had a lawn care business.

Leon was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council #1269, the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, the Kingman Lions Club; and was a 1973 graduate of Kingman High School.

Survivors include his sister-in-law Lana Gillen and husband Dennis; nieces Bethany Thimesch and husband Ryan, Kaley Tiesmeyer and Kenley Tiesmeyer; nephew-in-law Todd Garrison; and several great-nieces.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Fred; sister Delores Hampel; and niece Dr. Lacey Garrison.

Parish rosary will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, Dec.  18, 2023 at St. Patrick Catholic Church followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Friends may call from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday at Livingston Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.

Memorials may be made the St. Patrick Grade School or Kingman Lions Club both in care of the funeral home.
