Letha M. Schrag, 87, died Dec. 28, 2021 at the Prairie Sunset Home, Pretty Prairie.

She was born March 17, 1934, at Pretty Prairie the daughter of Eli and Tillie Kaufman Stucky.  A lifetime resident of the Pretty Prairie community, she was a retired Registered Nurse.

Letha was a member of the First Mennonite Church of Pretty Prairie and served on various Church and community committees.

On July 17, 1955, she married LaVerne Schrag at Pretty Prairie; he died in 2006.  Survivors include two sons Steve Schrag and Randy Schrag; brother Bill; sisters Viola McCaslin, Kathy French and Geraldine Emery

; 5 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by a daughter Janet Lea; brothers Elmer and Harry; and sisters Doris Stucky, Esther Flickner, Elfrieda Brown, Laura Stucky and Erna Ott.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, Jan. 3, 2022 at the First Mennonite Church Cemetery with services in the Church at 2:00 p.m.  The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday at the Livingston Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made with the Prairie Sunset Home in care of the funeral home.
