LEVI M. ZIEGLER

Levi M. Ziegler, 82, died March 24, 2024 in Wichita.

He was born Feb. 5, 1942, in Kingman the son of Andrew P. and Katherine Thimesch Ziegler.  A lifetime resident of Kingman, he retired from the Kingman County Public Works Department.

Levi was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church; was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus; and was a U.S. Army veteran.

On Aug. 26, 1967, he married Theresa Kennedy in Wichita.  Other survivors include three sons, Gary and wife Michelle, Bob and wife Ali, Ray and wife Terry; daughter Brenda Burdick and husband Mike; brother Albert; sister Joan Boor; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by brothers Wilfred, John and Leo; and sisters Marge Detmer and Lucille Vierthaler.

Parish rosary will be 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at the St. Patrick Catholic Church.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 27, 2024, also at St. Patrick Catholic Church.  Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.

Memorials have been suggested to St. Patrick Grade School and Wheatlands Healthcare Center, both in care of Livingston Funeral Home.
