LORETTA ANN (BECKER) SCHWARTZ

Loretta Ann (Becker) Schwartz, 94, died July 19, 2021, at Grace Cottage in Wichita, KS.

She was born the daughter of William and Rosa (Hageman) Becker on October 2, 1926, in Nashville, KS. In 1947, she married Delbert Schwartz.

A Kingman resident since 1979, moving from Willowdale, she was a homemaker and retired farmer. She loved to sew and made beautiful quilts for her family. She also loved to bake and was known to have monster cookies in the freezer for grandkids when they visited. One of her biggest joys was spending time with her kids, grandkids, great-grandkids and siblings. It was always a blessing to witness so many wonderful memories of the love and laughter that was shared among them.

She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Kingman.

Survivors include three sons, Steve (Doris), Wayne (Debra), Craig; a daughter, Carolyn Jantz (Kevin); brothers, Walt Becker, Victor Becker, Gene Becker, Don Becker; sisters, Gladys Randolph, Irene Spade, Caroline Dyche, Pat Zrubek; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert; her parents, William and Rosa; daughter, Nancy Ann Schwartz; brothers, Herman Becker, William "Bud" Becker, Elmer Becker; sisters, Helen Kerschen, Marcella Orth, and Marie Cooley.

Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 23, 2021, at Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman, KS. Parish Rosary will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kingman, with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 a.m. and burial at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
