Loretta R. Benson, 73, died May 27, 2016 at Wichita.
She was born Sept. 23, 1942, at Wichita the daughter of Earl and Irene Messmer Fieser. A resident of the Norwich community most of her life, she was a former employee of the Sg. County Appraiser's Office and the Kansas Medical Center.
In 1964, she married John Benson; he died Feb. 22, 2009. Survivors include two sons, Tim and Bryant; brother Glen; 2 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers Larry and Gene; and sister Caroline Plummer.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Upchurch Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in care of the funeral home.
