Lucille "Lucy" Albers, 80, died July 1, 2018, at Wheatlands Healthcare Center, Kingman.
She was born Feb. 16, 1938, at Mt. Vernon, Kansas the daughter of Henry and Margaret Hilger Jacobs. A longtime resident of the St. Leo community, she was a retired teacher.
Lucy was a member of the St. Leo Catholic Church and the Altar Society, both of St. Leo.
On June 7, 1980, she married Ralph Albers at Wichita; he died Feb. 8, 2017. She is survived by a brother Oscar; sisters Helen Mertens and Jeanette Traffas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by brothers Harold, Vincent, Sylvester, Virgil and Richard; and sisters Florence Wehkamp, Delphine Schmitz, Sr. Loretta Jacobs, Rosann Depenbusch and infant sister Frances.
Parish rosary will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 5, 2018, at St. Leo Catholic Church followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Burial will be in the St. Leo Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with the St. Leo Church, Wheatlands Healthcare Center or Rivercross Hospice, all in care of the funeral home.
