LUPE M. GOMEZ

Lupe M. Gomez, 93, died Feb. 20, 2020, in Wichita.

She was born Dec. 12, 1926, at Belvidere, Kansas the daughter of Rudy and Jesus Gonzales. A longtime resident of Kingman, she was a former CNA and CMA.

Lupe was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church, the D of I, the Altar Society, and the American Legion Auxilliary, all of Kingman.

On Nov. 20, 1948, she married Joe Gomez; he died Jan. 24, 2012. Survivors include three sons Joe, Jr., Greg and Victor; four daughters Teresa Rios, Patty Mancinas, Linda Guillen and Martha Hernandez; two brothers Jesse and Ancel Gonzales; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by brothers Johnny, Pampi, Tony and Casey.

Parish rosary will be 7:00 p.m., Sunday, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday at the Livingston Funeral home, Kingman. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.

Memorials may be made with St. Patrick School and Harry Hynes Hospice both in care of the funeral home.
