Marcelline Elizabeth Henning, 92, died Dec. 25, 2016, in Pretty Prairie. She was born Dec. 14, 1924, at St. Mary Aleppo, Kan., the daughter of Leonard Jacob and Mary Ann (May) Stump.
A lifetime resident of the Willowdale community, she was a homemaker. Marcelline was a member of the St. Peter's Catholic Church and the Altar Society, a lifetime member of the D of I.
On Aug. 14, 1945, she married George John Henning at St. Mary Aleppo. He died June 16, 2004. Survivors include: sons, Norman (Linda), Cliff (Pat); daughters, Dottie Miller (Jeff), Kay Anderson (Larry); daughter-in-law, Sue Henning; sisters, Kathleen Wilken, Ruthie Stump, Mary Ann Seibold, Bert Kingsley Eleanor Daffron; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a great great-granddaughter.
Parish rosary will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at the St. Peter's Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Burial will be in the St. Peter's Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made with the Prairie Sunset Home, in care of Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman.
