Margaret L. Albright, 94, died Oct. 3, 2014, at the Hutchinson Hospital.
She was born July 11, 1920, at Kingman the daughter of Raymond and Faye Barr Bixler. A resident of the Pretty Prairie community most of her life, she was a former postal clerk and retired as Postmaster at the Pretty Prairie Post Office.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, UMW, and assisted with the Good News Program, all of Pretty Prairie; the National Postmaster Association and the Retired Postmasters Association.
On Sept. 8, 1940, she married Harold Albright at Kingman; he died April 8, 1989. Survivors include one daughter Margaret Angela Frederick and her husband Larry; grandchildren Christian and Breigh Frederick and Carrie Faye and Gage Swanson; and great-grandchildren Aden, Bennett, Ava and Reese. She was also preceded in death by her brother Gayle Bixler.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 8, at the Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Lerado Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with the Samaritan's Purse in care of the funeral home.
