PRETTY PRAIRIE

Margaret May Edwards joined her heavenly family on Dec. 30, 2016. Margaret was a resident of Prairie Sunset Home in Pretty Prairie.

Margaret was born to Henry Ola and Josephine McRae Trickle on June 17, 1929, from Loda Township, Reno County, Kansas. Margaret joined the family of sister Mary, and brothers Clarence, Robert and Leighton. Margaret graduated from Kingman High School in 1946. She met and married Ken Kautzer and they had three children, Steven, Charles, and Patti.

Margaret moved from Pretty Prairie to Hayward, California with her second husband, Don Edwards, where she increased her family by two sons, Don and Dave Edwards. She later returned to Pretty Prairie to join her sister, Mary Bowyer, at the Prairie Sunset Home.

Margaret was a faithful follower and member of the Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church.

Margaret is survived by daughter Patti Brace and her husband Bob; sons Charles Kautzer and wife Susan, Don Edwards and wife Teri, and David Edwards; sisters Ann and their husbands, Ann and Frank Smith, Judy and Larry Flickner; nieces Robyn (Jim) Dowd, Cheri Trickel, nephews Joseph (Marlo) Horton, Darrell Lee Trickel. Margaret will be fondly remembered by her many beloved grandchildren, great-granddaughter, Nieces, nephews, and cousins scattered throughout the United States.

Margaret joins her parents, sisters Mary, Karen and Jeanne Kay; brothers Clarence, Robert and Leighton; and oldest son Steven, in his Fatherly arms.?

Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Saturday, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, also at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Hoosier Cemetery.

Memorials may be made with Prairie Sunset Home in care of the funeral home.
