Margaret Elaine (Zerger) Graber, 89, was born Feb. 28, 1929, In Castleton, KS, the oldest child to Elmer and May (Rice) Zerger. She graduated from the Pretty Prairie Schools in 1947.

Elaine married Marion A. Graber, son of Ben P. and Mary (Unruh) Graber, on May 16, 1948 at the Pretty Prairie Methodist Church. To this union were born Michael Allen, Shirley June, Sue Marie, Dan Edward, and John Scott. She retired as the librarian-city clerk for the city of Pretty Prairie

Elaine passed from this earthly life on Thursday, March 8 while a resident at the Hutchinson Hospice House. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Shirley June; her father and mother; and her husband Marion.

She is survived by one brother, Duane Zerger; her sister Leona Morrison; her children Rev. Michael, Dan and John Graber, and Sue Stevens; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, at Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday with family present from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Burial will be in the Lonestar Cemetery.
