Marie Ellen Kern, 94, died Sept. 28, 2017, at the Prairie Sunset Home.
She was born Aug. 14, 1923, at Grenola, Kansas the daughter of Virgil P. and Anna Clark Harp. A resident of Wichita most of her life, moving to Pretty Prairie three years ago, she was in the Wiring Department at Boeing.
Marie attended the Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church.
She was married to Jacob D. Kern; he died Sept. 11, 1997. Survivors include three sisters, Ethel Meier, Beaulah Eastman and Doris McClure; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by brothers Harold and Cecil Harp; and sister Edith Bonfigilo.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, at the Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the Calvary Cemetery, Wichita.
Memorials may be made with the Prairie Sunset Home in care of the funeral home.
