Marieda K. Goetz, 88, died Aug. 8, 2015.

She was born Aug. 22, 1926, at Sharon, Kansas the daughter of Charley and Leota Lichlyter Simon. A resident of the Willowdale community most of her life, moving to Augusta in 2002, she was a homemaker.

She was a member of the St. James Catholic Church, Augusta; the Altar Society, the D of I, and Harvest House.

On Feb. 8, 1949, she married Vincent Goetz at Sharon; he died in 2004. Survivors include sons Donald, Jerry (Linda), Ralph; son-in-law Jesse Allen; daughers Charlette (Jerry) Knotts, Louise Regan, Joyce (Rick) Linebarger, Sandra (Dan) Gadberry, Susan Lewis, Denise (Tim) Thielen; brother Jim Simon; 20 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son James; daughters Marie Ann Goetz and Jane Allen; grandsons Sid Young and Joshua Regan; great-grandson Kolby Smith; brother Charles Simon; and a sister Sr. Barbara Kramer; and a son-in-law Jeff Regan.

Parish rosary will be 7:00 p.m., Thursday, at St. James Catholic Church, Augusta with the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., Friday, also at St. James Catholic Church. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Thursday, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, at St. Peter Cemetery, Willowdale.
Memorials may be made with Arrowhead West of Medicine Lodge, St. James Catholic Church and St. Peter Catholic Church, all in care of Livingston Funeral Home.
