Marilyn J. Drake, 69, died Oct. 22, 2016, at her home outside Murdock.
She was born Sept. 25, 1947, at Kingman the daughter of Homer Lawrence and Gladys Louise Miller Taber. A lifetime resident of the Murdock community, she was a homemaker.
Marilyn was a member of the United Methodist Church, the UMW, EHU, all of Murdock; and TOPS, Kingman.
On April 8, 1967, she married Charles Drake at Hutchinson. Other survivors include a daughter Joyce Hall and her husband Tom; brother Homer L. Taber; and granddaughter Samantha. She was preceded in death by son LaVerne.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Belmont.
Memorials may be made with Interim Hospice or the Kingman Community Hospital, both in care of Livingston Funeral Home.
