Marilyn I. Meng, 76, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and sister died March 27, 2015.
She was born at the Attica hospital to Howard and Maureen Slagell on May 22, 1938. She attended the Hebron rural grade school and graduated from Attica High School.
She was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church, the Daughters of Isabella and Altar Society, all of Kingman. She was also a dedicated Wheatland's Thrift Shop volunteer and homemaker.
On Dec. 29, 1956, she married Joe Meng. Other survivors include daughter Patricia Long and her husband Don; sons Mark Meng and Michael Meng and his wife Melissa; grandchildren Steven Long, Lance Meng and Ava Meng; brother Curtis Slagell and his wife Gayle; and a host of other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m., Monday at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the Livingston Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery, Kingman.
Memorials may be made with the St. Patrick Grade School, Wheatlands Healthcare Center and St. Jude's Childrens Hospital all in care of the funeral home.
