Marjorie "Marj" Wells, 98, died Oct. 21, 2018, at her home in Kingman.
She was born Oct. 25, 1919, at Cedarvale, Oklahoma the daughter of Wilbur and Cora Lena Reeves Van Sickle. A longtime resident of Kingman, she was a retired beautician.
Marj was a member of the Cunningham Christian Church; and a member of Order of the Eastern Star having held every office during her membership.
On Jan. 4, 1937, she married Dal Wells at Hutchinson; he died Feb. 4, 2003. Survivors include a daughter-in-law Carol Wells; granddaughters Patricia Marchand and husband Jay, Kathleen Stallard, and Rebecca Robertson and her husband Robert; 6 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter. She was also preceded in death by son Sanford Wayne Wells, having died in May of 2008.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday at Brumfield Cemetery, Seiling, Oklahoma.
Memorials may be made with the Cunningham Christian Church.
