Marvin D. Coon, 84, died Aug. 18, 2018, at the Kingman Community Hospital.

He was born Jan. 30, 1934, in Rago, Kansas, the son of Otis and Mary Harper Coon.

A Kansas resident most of his life, he was a retired machinist for Boeing.

Marvin was a member of the North Star Lodge #168 A.F.&A.M., the Scottish Rite Bodies; and the Midian Shrine, all of Wichita.

Survivors include sons  Jeff and Bryan; daughters Audrey Bishop, Cindy Betzen and Karen Coon; brother William Coon; sisters Janie Hibbs and Lois O'Neal; 10 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a brother Leon; and sisters Mary Louise and Phyllis

Private family committal services will precede a family reception at the Milton Baptist Church, Milton, KS, on Sept. 1, 2018 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.

A memorial has been established with the Midian Shrine Plane of Mercy Fund in care of Livingston Funeral Home.
