MARY ANN BROWN
Mary Ann Brown, 94, died May 23, 2011, at Wheatlands Healthcare Center, Kingman.
She was born April 17, 1917, at Nashville, Kansas to William and Caroline Hommertzheim Bachman. She was a registered nurse and a resident of Kingman County for most of her life.
She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Daughters of Isabella and St. Anne's Altar Society, all of Kingman.
On Sept. 4, 1940, she married William L. Brown at St. Patrick's Church in Kingman. He died Nov. 18, 2003. Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn Fitzmorris and husband John, Hutchinson, Nancy Whitaker and husband James, Valley Center, and Judy Kinsler and husband Ross, Kingman; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and a sister Ann Benegar, Virginia Beach, Virginia. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brothers J.W. Bachman and Albert Bachman.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m., to 7:00 p.m., Friday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Parish rosary will be at 7:00 p.m., also at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Kingman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may given to the Kingman Library, St. Patrick's School Building Fund and Wheatlands Healthcare Center all in care of Livingston Funeral Home, 1830 N. Main, Kingman, KS 67068.
