Dateline/Pretty Prairie
Mary Ann Goering, 83, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and loved by all, went home to her Heavenly Father on Saturday at Kingman Community Hospital in Kingman.
She was born July 26, 1932, at Pretty Prairie, Kansas, the daughter of Rudy and Ida Flickinger Stucky. A lifetime resident of Pretty Prairie, she was a Certified Nurse's Aide, farmer and homemaker.
Mary Ann was a member of First Mennonite Church and the Church Sewing Society, both of Pretty Prairie.
On Oct. 3, 1952, she married Willis J. Goering at Pretty Prairie; other survivors include sons Mark (Carolyn), Roy (Susan) and Arlen Jay (Sue) Goering; daughter Glenda (Joe) Kaufman; 9 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, at the First Mennonite Church, Pretty Prairie. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman, with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in the First Mennonite Church Cemetery, Pretty Prairie.
Memorials may be made with The Prairie Sunset Home and the First Mennonite Church in Pretty Prairie, both in care of the funeral home.
