Mary Lou Hedrick, 89, died Jan. 18, 2022 at the Prairie Sunset Home.
She was born July 5, 1932, at Hutchinson the daughter of Thomas and Amelia Girard
White. A longtime resident of the Castleton and Pretty Prairie communities, she was a homemaker, an Avon representative and a former EMT.
Mary Lou was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kingman; the St. Agnes Altar Society, Castleton, the Beta Study Club and the Pretty Prairie Bell Choir.
On Aug. 3, 1950, she married Bryce Hedrick; he died Oct. 30, 2012. Survivors include sons Mike (Connie), Tony (Cindy), Pat (Tricia) and Kevin (Amy); daughters Sharon (Dave) Wassenberg, Susan Duran, Jane (Chuck) Thronson, Cindy (Kris) Hedrick, Rosemary Hedrick and Mari Ann (Tom) Farrell; sisters Patricia Perkins and Elaine Meier; 27 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by brother Thomas and an infant brother Lawrence; sisters Dorothy Roylance, Francie Grilliot and Teresa Barb; son-in-law David Duran; granddaughter Latisha Duran; and grandson-in-law Jeff Matthews.
Parish rosary will be 7:00 p.m., Friday at the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kingman. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday also at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Graveside services will be 12:00 noon, Saturday at the St. Agnes Cemetery, Castleton.
